Poor sleep is not a character trait.

Sleep is not a break from life – it is the most active phase of cellular regeneration, memory consolidation, and hormonal renewal. What we eat, how we structure our evenings, and what we build daily all determine the quality of our sleep.

Food First

Food first. Then the supplement.

devyne stands for a food-first approach. This means: A high-quality, plant-based diet is the foundation. Dietary supplements can be useful – as a supplement, not as a replacement.

Tryptophan-rich foods

Nuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, legumes, dairy products, oats – provide tryptophan as a precursor to serotonin and melatonin. Combined with complex carbohydrates, absorption can be promoted.

Magnesium-rich foods

Pumpkin seeds, almonds, spinach, dark chocolate, whole grains – magnesium is involved in neuromuscular relaxation and is discussed as a relevant factor in sleep research.

Polyphenol-rich evening meal

Cherries (especially tart cherries), kiwi, grapes – individual studies investigate connections between certain polyphenols and sleep duration. No proven effect, but part of a high-quality evening diet.

Targeted supplementation where appropriate

Magnesium, low-dose melatonin, L-theanine – in certain situations, targeted supplementation can make sense as part of a conscious evening routine. Always supplementary, never substitutive.
