Hericium (Hericium erinaceus), also known as Lion's Mane, is a medicinal mushroom from traditional Asian nutritional science. The organic extract used in Hericium Signature is standardized to 30% polysaccharides and 20% beta-glucans. The formula is supplemented with natural vitamin C from the Amla fruit. Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and immune system and helps protect cells – including those in the gut – from oxidative stress. There are currently no authorized health claims for Hericium itself.
