Wissenschaftliche Grundlage

Black cumin oil has been valued in the Orient for around 3,500 years and is known as the "Gold of the Pharaohs". Cold-pressed and unfiltered, it contains secondary plant compounds and a high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids (55g per 100ml). Replacing saturated with polyunsaturated fatty acids contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels – an approved EU health claim that applies to this fatty acid profile. Further claims of efficacy widespread in folk medicine (e.g., regarding the immune system or inflammation) are not covered by an EU claim and are therefore deliberately not made here.

Our Curation

Why we chose this specific product

Unfiltered black cumin oil deliberately distinguishes itself from filtered varieties: The natural turbidities from the seed are retained, which shapes its taste and original character. With 55 g of polyunsaturated fatty acids per 100 ml and cold-pressed extraction, its naturalness was the decisive criterion for us. These fatty acids contribute to maintaining a normal cholesterol level – a small but concrete building block of a longevity-oriented diet, used sparingly in cold dishes.

Cold-pressed & unfiltered

The oil is extracted from Nigella sativa seeds and remains unfiltered. As a result, it contains natural sediment and has an intense aroma.

Kitchen Application

Black cumin oil is not suitable for heating, but for cold dishes. Salads, dips, dressings and smoothies are typical applications.

Food-first routine

A high-quality vegetable oil can be a small but consistent building block in a conscious diet – especially when used regularly and in appropriate doses.

Selected Ingredient

Selected Ingredient

The focus is on native, unfiltered black cumin oil from the seeds of the Nigella sativa plant. The natural turbidity is part of its natural character.

Composition & Nutritional Context

Native black cumin oil essentially consists of oil from Nigella sativa seeds. According to the manufacturer, it is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and not suitable for heating.

Usage

Use black seed oil sparingly and do not heat it. It goes well with cold dishes, dressings, dips, or as a small addition to smoothies.

Daily life & routine

Due to its intense flavor, the oil is particularly suitable for small, conscious amounts. This allows it to be used regularly without dominating other flavors.

The perfect addition to your longevity routine
